In January 2023, the European Commission published a study into the impact of recent ad tech developments on privacy, publishers and advertisers. The study found that the status quo in the market is unsustainable, and argues that there is a strong case for reform. Nick Botton, Senior Policy Associate, AWO, one of the authors of the study, will share insights from the study, its conclusions, and consequences for advertisers.
